This is our team:

Tynedale Community Hospice has a volunteer management committee who meet bi-monthly. They have varied roles and volunteer their time to help manage the Hospice. The Chair of our Management Meetings is Jane Hastings.

Christine Mitchell is our Registered Manager with CSCI and works fulltime to manage the day to day running of the Hospice and all care services. Christine initially helped as a volunteer and has worked for the Hospice for nearly a decade.

Lorraine Thompson is the Hospice Administrator with a full time extremely varied role. She co-ordinates our volunteer drivers and oversees the day to day running of the shop.

Liz Tait is our part-time volunteers co-ordinator, who gives talk to community groups to find volunteers for the Hospice. She recruits and supports and also organises motivational events for them. Volunteers are a very important aspect of the Hospice and we could not manage without them.

Our care service team has a range of professional staff to work in peoples home. We have 8 Qualified Nurses, 11 Support Workers, 5 Complementary Therapists and over 100 volunteers who help with transport, charity shop work and home support.
