New Service for Hospital Visits
Volunteer driver, Alison Ross is launching her exciting new service for hospital visits. "Being taken for hospital visits on the pillion of a gleaming Harley Davidson adds a whole new dimension to our care services" says Alison, an experienced volunteer who also sews and bakes although not at the same time as riding the Harley.

Renowned throughout Northumberland and County Durham, Alison's rock buns and cheese scones have provided welcome famine relief to hundreds of starving bikers and their families. You'll probably hear Alison on her cheery two-wheel escapades into town before you see her as she is frequently accompanied by head banging heavy metal music.
(Actually, I made it all up, although the photo is real. Alison won the Harley treat in a raffle and had a memorable ride out to Hartside, which is where the picture was taken).
