What a brilliant night we had...

Tynedale Hospice at Home took the time to celebrate the contribution our volunteers make to make the Hospice Service what it is today. Everyone really enjoyed it and as Liz had given her notice to retire, we took this opportunity to thank her for her hard work over the 3 years she had worked for us.

We took a collection amongst the volunteers and staff and did Liz proud. Chair of our Executive, Jane Hastings and staff made a presentation of gifts for her. She received champagne, flowers, chocolates and a beautiful handbag, which we assured her, was not from our shop. Liz was very emotional and said she had enjoyed her time at the hospice and would miss us all.

We wish Liz good luck for the future in all that she sets out to achieve and I am sure many of you will see her out and about in our small community
