Bereavement Service
Tynedale Hospice at Home's Bereavement Service provides support to those who need it after the death of a loved one. The service is available to children, young people or adults.
Adult service: We can provide individual support with a Bereavement Support Volunteer for as long as it is needed. This service is open to those who have received care from the hospice or who live in Tynedale.
Children & Young People: We have a range of leaflets regarding bereaved children and their needs. We can offer children and their families support following a death of someone close. We also provide a one day bereavement workshop for bereaved children between the ages of 5-16. We also have the Rainbow Room at Battle Hill which has useful resources that are available to borrow.
A full range of Bereavement Services leaflets can be downloaded from our library. [Follow this link]
Training: Training is available for health care professionals, teaching staff and others.
