Sunday 10th August - Snods Edge
Snods Edge Teas will be another annual fundraiser for TCH on the 10th August. We need more help for this very demanding day, we require about 7 or 8 people to make pots of tea, butter scones, make sandwiches, cut up cakes and pies, serve and clear away tables, fill and empty the dishwasher. It is always frantically busy for such an “off the beaten track” place and you are guaranteed a great nights sleep after- from all the exertion!
If you can’t be there in person to help please can you bake cakes for us.  Every thing sells from savoury pies to iced sponge cakes, fruit or cheese scones, fruit loaves, rich fruit cake, tray bakes whatever you care to cook for us we can sell.
If you can help in any way for the event above please contact Liz to give us an idea of what we will have to sell and numbers to help. ’Bring an apron’. If you have never ventured out to Snods Edge bring the family for a real Afternoon Tea experience.

The Snods Edge Teas were once again a huge success and raised £453.53 for the Hospice.  We were very lucky to have a volunteer helping on the day who can apply to have the amount matched by the Barclays £ for £ scheme.  A big thank you to everyone who helped us on the day. With special thanks to our volunteer Alison Ross who organises this annual event to raise funds for the Hospice.

One of our Nurses has arranged this event to raise funds for Tynedale Community Hospice.
