By volunteering for a local charity you can make a real difference to the lives of people in your area.

As a volunteer driver
There are occasions where someone may need to attend a regular course of treatment, or just visit an unfamiliar or distant hospital for an appointment, and our drivers can take and collect service users, by prior arrangement.

As an occasional volunteer driver
Could you offer to be an occasional driver or collector to collect donations for the shop from people throughout the area who do not have their own transport?

Ideally, each day, we need 4 volunteers for each session, morning or afternoon. This could involve manning the till, there is one upstairs in our bookshop and one downstairs in the main shop, sorting donations, pricing items or clothes, (there are guidelines) and displaying items such as bric-a-brac, accessories or linens.

 

 

 

 

Our Charity Shop is open from
10am - 4pm Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
10am - 1pm on Thursday
